Photo Farewell to the Yorktown Disney Store

I was able to get up to the Disney Store at Yorktown, in Lombard, IL. It will be closing on or about the 20th of February. I got a few things, no adult apparel, that's gone already. I also took a bunch of photos to capture the 'animation' displays above the perimeter of the store. The Yorktown location is the last in Chicagoland to have the old pink/blue scheme of the original stores. The rest have moved on, the one on Michigan Avenue being a one off for the tourists, and a new plan for interactive store designs in the works, this was the last of its kind.

So follow if you will, the link to the photos that I took. Enjoy, the future can bring us something new...

Legion

I am sitting down to watch. I think the theater is presuming a quick departure as it was relegated to #15 opening weekend.

I am going to remain open to Legion, hoping for a fun movie. I have this nagging feeling that I'll be lauging at all the wrong spots. The first time I remember doing that was Hellraiser 3. It was a good concept, but myself and the buddy I was with were laughing at the 'horrific' moments, because the build up was done so poorly. We ruined it for a theater full of Friday night patrons opening weekend.

Here's to hoping...

Home computing

Been busy today, with help of course, getting all of my computing up and running. Had a bit of a boot issue which has been resolved. Now it's just a matter of running a memory test on 3GB of DDR3, been at it for more than an hour now....
